BMW BERLIN MARATHON

  • The marathon event, which takes place in Berlin every September, is part of the World Marathon Majors series and is considered the fastest marathon in the world. The 50th edition in 2024 was even the largest marathon in history with 54,280 finishers. Several world records have already been set in Berlin for both men and women, most recently in 2022 by Eliud Kipchoge and in 2023 by Tigist Assefa. In addition to the main run, which also includes wheelchair users and hand bikers, there is an inline skate marathon and a mini marathon for schoolchildren the day before.
